NHS Dentistry

Some people do not have to pay for NHS dental treatment.

If you’re exempt from NHS dental charges you will be asked for proof of exemption at each visit.

There are 3 NHS charge bands:

Band 1: £22.70

Covers an examination, diagnosis and advice. If necessary, it also includes X-rays, a scale and polish, and planning for further treatment.

Band 2: £62.10

Covers all treatment included in Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).

Band 3: £269.30

Covers all treatment included in Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.

Such a lovely practice, and they always go the extra mile! I have visited a few times to see the hygienist Sintia, she... is so helpful and gives the best advice. What a pleasant experience I had today at the surgery. Sounds too good to be true, right? The dentist being pleasant.... I saw my hygienist today and was exceptionally impressed with the results.I am one of those who do not like, enjoy any trips to dental surgeries, but my experience today was great.Linda on reception great customer service, friendly and engaging. Nurse Mandi certainly tried to calm me down and take onboard my fears. She was very caring on her nature.Finally, the hygienist Sintija great job. She started cleaning my teeth with the machine however, she noticed my discomfort and opted to finish off with the manually method. Way to go Sintija! My experience was certainly one of the best I have had in a long time. Thank you to all who ensured I was made to feel comfortable during my appt.read more

I’ve had my third time visit there today, each time they welcomed and treated me nicely. Super friendly environment and... quality service provided by Rob and her lovely nurse Paulina (I hope I get the name right, sorry if I’m not). Rob has been super focused and he has great passion, enthusiasm for his job. Paulina was charming and really take care of me. Can not be asked for better service. I really enjoyed the tunes they played and overall there is nothing bad I could possible say. Really happy with the job they done and the result speak for itself. I highly recommend it for anybody who’s looking for a dentist. All credit to these guys, worth the money and time for sure! I’m definitely will visit them again! I was in bad pain with my tooth, I had never been to this practice before but I rang as an emergency and they were able... to fit me in straight away to be able to sort my tooth out for me. Dr Jagsi Fitted me in and done a root canal on my tooth as soon as he could, I’ve always dreaded a root canal and I am a very nervous patient but he made my whole experience so relaxing and put me at ease! The Root canal was completely pain free! Rang me after my appointment to see how my tooth was ect. Since then I have moved to this practice had more fillings done with Dr Jagsi, again completely painless and no problems after.Would 100% recommend going here. I no longer dread my dentist appointments!!read more

I highly recommend Rob Devine after attending the practice this week for a check up. My teeth need quite a lot of work... and like many people I am not enthusiastic about attending the dental surgery. Rob made me feel at ease. He was confident and very clear about the work that is needed and explained simply what would be required. A very reassuring and gentle young man. I haven’t seen a dentist for quite some time as, like many people, I hate going and only go if I think there may be a... problem. This morning I saw a dentist called Rob who was really lovely. He put me at ease and explained everything that he was doing and what he was going to do and why (x-rays). I have another appointment with Rob for fillings which normally I would feel nervous about, but I don’t! Also I found both the nurse and receptionist really friendly and professional and the practice very clean withCovid safety in mind. I now intend to go for regular check ups with Rob.read more

Amar and his team always go the extra mile to make me feel at ease whenever I visit. Normally, I am nervous before... going to the dentist, but Amar and the dental nurse are fantastic and make sure I am 100% comfortable before going ahead with any treatment.
